This story begins with two college students: one from America, one from China. You see, Bolun came here on a student visa expecting to find education and NOT love. The last thing on her list was to fall in love with an America. But then she met Addison. She and Addison became INSEPARABLE, and when the time came, they decided to elope! With her family so far away and him only having studied Korean in school, they decided to start their life together without having to travel and then have pictures taken so that they could send them to their parents. Being that Bolun hails from China, but was starting a new life with Addison in the USA, they decided on 2 dresses: one white, one red. I thought this was a beautiful way of capturing their marriage, a marriage where 2 people come together from 2 separate cultures, and choosing to honor both.
