Dallas Wedding Photographer Gets Featured
There is nothing like a destination wedding in a historic building, and it is even more special when a Dallas Wedding Photographer gets it featured by Wed Society Austin.
This funky, classic, sheek Austin vow renewal was a dream come true for Hannah and Josh after having their original wedding venue canceled on them a week before saying “I Do” and having to change the location to a not-so-cute church. Their wedding photos, though full of sweetness and beautiful in their own right, were not what they had in mind for hanging up in their home.
As a destination wedding photographer, it was an honor to not only plan this for my dear friend Hannah but to document it. Although I am not a planner, this was a passion project that I teamed up with my web designer to create so that Hannah and Josh would have the wedding photos of their dreams.
Here are a few things about it that made it stand out to this publication.
The Vendors
We teamed up with primarily local vendors instead of bringing in everyone from Dallas.
Venue: Wish Well House
Coordinator: Moonstruck Events Texas
Hair and Makeup: Formal Faces by IvaMarie
Florist: Marissa Brown
Cake: Rayne Desserts
Stationary: Jen Krause Paper Co

Another aspect that made this event stand out was our decision to go with some vendors that you don’t see at every wedding.
Wedding Content Creater: Content by Clarice
Live Artist: Vogue Vignette Official
Styling and Outfits
The icing on the cake that made it all come together was the outfits and styling.
Bridal Shop: Lovely Bride Dallas
Dresses: Georgia Young Couture
Vail: Alexandra Grecco
Ring: Local Eclectic
Earrings: Jennifer Behr
Tux Rental: Suit Shop Official
Thinking outside of the Box
The final thing that made this stand out for Wed Society Austin was that we thought outside of the box with how we styled things. Instead of the floral arrangement on the table, we opted for the cake, for the tablecloth, I hand-made it so we could sprawl it out effortlessly; for the details, we went with Gangnam and even down to some of the photos, going against the trends while also leaning into them and making them my own.

Final Thoughts
Weddings, although gorgeous and something to be beheld, are not to be made a spectacle of from the get-go. If your intention is to get published, it should not be your one and only priority. Making your wedding your own and starting the first day of forever with your person should be first, alongside building a lasting marriage.
But gosh darn it, if getting published and sharing what weddings are all about is one of your goals, hit me up. I would love to help make that a reality, as I know what it takes.
