WEDDING - CAITI AND JONO / DALLAS, TX
Candid Wedding Bliss.
When I think of a relaxed, but absolutely beautiful wedding, I think of Caiti and Jono's small but elegant wedding by the water. The best way to start off this blog post is to tell you the names of the vendors I worked with that day:
Where: Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake
Wedding Coordinator: The Bride's Sister
Caterer: Ten 50 BBQ
Bartender: David Grado from Mayan Bartending Services
I arrived to the venue early to find most all of everything set up, they just had a few odds and ends here and there. The decorations were simple, but elegant. The location had plenty of natural light coming in and when I walked behind the building, to my delight, the lake was glistening. The guest arrived on time to find that the bride and groom were running a little bit behind schedule. The happy couple made the decision to allow drinks to be served while their friends and family waited. The wedding may have started an hour late, but even with the change in plans, Jono and Caiti showed us that its not about the timeline, the flowers and the decor, but rather about the love that they share. They are dedicated to loving and caring for others.
Not only that, but Caiti is the first Bride I have seen actually play the DIY games at her wedding, and Jono made sure that my assistant and I had everything we needed. They danced to the Beatles, they smashed cake in each other's faces and walked to their car in STYLE with their sparklers held high in the air as if they had just conquered the world.
OH And They Had A RING DOG!!
By the way, they are probably one of the coolest couples ever!
