I live in Denton, Texas, which is located in the DFW Area, and I most certainly do travel. Fun fact: I lived out of a hiking backpack for over 2 years, I am a master at packing and am always ready to go. I’m also fluent in Spanish, so that is a plus if we go to a Spanish speaking country.

I’ve been photographing weddings on and off since December of 2015.

When I talk about editing I am referring to adjusting the light, temperature/tint (if it is more golden or blue toned), and add my own little twist that you see in all my images to make them POP. If you are looking for someone to airbrush your skin and photoshop you beyond removing acne, then I am probably not the photographer you are looking for.

I would consider myself as someone who goes with the flow and encourages natural moments to happen. I make sure I capture all the special moments that happen on your wedding day and you don't have to worry about a thing. I let you have time with your family and friends and when you get your gallery, you will be able to remember those moments and actually feel what you felt that day. Of course on wedding days when it comes to family portraits I make sure they get done but mainly I document moments as they happen.

Yes and no. I am a prompt-based photographer which means, I will tell you, for example, to walk the field holding hands and looking at each other while I take pictures. My clients LOVE this and have so much fun. This style of shooting allows for me to capture who you both are as a couple and not take away from the moment. Of course, we will grab one or two of you both smiling and looking at the camera, but let’s be real, gone are the day of mom saying “Say Cheese!” Now, if you are someone who wants perfectly posed photos based off of those photos on Pinterest, then I would say that I am not the photographer you are looking for.

I do offer album design! As for printing services, I collaborate with a professional printing company that fulfills all your printing needs and it's as easy as clicking the shopping cart in your online downloadable gallery! You are always welcome to print elsewhere but I highly recommend printing through me.

I tend to dress in muted colors, or black so that I blend into the background unless your wedding is super colorful because of your traditions/ festivities. And I can almost guarantee I will be wearing some cute earrings.

Of course!! All my couple's sessions include an Outfit/ Session Guide to help you plan and prepare, a consultation, and we also will spend some time together before the session to break the ice. I will be with you every step of the way, you aren't doing this alone.

I use Canon Digital SLR cameras and occasionally Fujifilm mirrorless cameras along with top-notch lenses in both brands.

I require a 50% deposit for all my photo sessions, elopements, and weddings at the time of booking your date and signing the contract. The remainder of payment is due the day of the wedding. I do offer payment plans as well so that it's not all at once.

Wait, there are people who don’t carry backup gear? I can't imagine NOT having backup. As for protecting your images - all my cameras have a double recording system, which means that your images are saved on 2 memory cards instead of one just in case something happens! I never "clean" my cards until AFTER your album is delivered and I have all the images stored on multiple hard drives for safekeeping. Your final images are all stored online for a minimum of a year so you can download them.

Yes! In fact, I have experienced and even photographed weddings with different cultures, including a Chinese elopement with a red dress, and many cross-culture, multi-language weddings. My dream would be to document wedding ceremonies from all different cultures all around the world.
